Online Registration for The Pandora Chorus

The Fall 2024 Session of The Pandora Chorus will run weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9pm, starting Wednesday, September 25 to Wednesday, December 11, 2024.  The early bird cost to register for 12 weeks is $235.  Rehearsals take place at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (corner of Douglas St. and Broughton St.), entrance at 643 Broughton St.  We rent this beautiful space and are not affiliated with a church.  Registration for the Fall session will open in May 2024.  SEND US A MESSAGE if you'd like to be added to our email list and receive a notification when online registration opens.

If you know which section you sing in, please indicate when you register.  If you don't know, just make your best guess for now and you can switch sections if needed.  See vocal range descriptions below.

We strive to be inclusive of all genders in our choir.  We avoid assigning gender to each section (e.g. "Ladies" or "Men") and instead simply use Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone/Bass to refer to each group of singers.  Hormones affect vocal ranges, so these are broad categories, and may shift throughout a person's life and depending on hormonal influences.    We haven't yet found a completely neutral way to describe vocal cords and vocal ranges, and so far this is our best attempt to be clear and inclusive at the same time.

Soprano - highest vocal range for people with female vocal cords

Alto - middle vocal range for people with female vocal cords

Tenor - a blend of voices: typically, highest vocal range for people with male vocal cords, and can also include the lowest vocal range for people with female vocal cords

Baritone - middle vocal range for people with male vocal cords

Bass - lowest vocal range for people with male vocal cords
